Adeline,
You turned seven months on November, 9th, 2013 so this is a recap of your seventh month.
Milestones this month:
- You were baptized on October 20th, 2013.
- Got your first two teeth (your two center bottom teeth) on October 30th, 2013.
- Celebrated your first Halloween
- You had your first teething cookie
- You had your first teething cookie
Worth mentioning:
-Your hair is starting to get so long! It's beginning to do the same spiky thing your big sister's hair did. I LOVE it!
- You are starting to SQUEAL! You love to hear yourself, so you'll gurgle, sing, etc. So cute.
- You are now eating two solids a day (for the most part), and are doing great. You love food and have given us no issues with eating.
- We retired your swing since you hadn't used it it a month or two. We lent some of our gear to one of Mommy's friends, Lauren, so we passed along the Bjorn, your playmat, bouncy seat, swing, and bassinet.

*HUGE DISCLAIMER ON PICTURES: Yes, we are in our pajamas. Just keeping it real in this house. And let's be honest-- we were already 9 days late taking these pictures, so if I waited until we were all showered, it could be another 9 days. ;-)
Adeline 7 Month Stats:
* no doctor's app this month, but if I had to guess I'd say 18ish lbs and 28"
Clothing: 6-9 and 6-12 months, just depends on the brand.
Diapers: Size 2 and 3. You still fit in 2's but I bought the next big box in size 3's. Your nighttime diaps are size 3.
Favorite Toys: You LOVE your jumperroo, and car doorway jumper that Nanny bought you. You would stay in either for a long time if I didn't take you out. You are now becoming very independent and will sit with a basket of toys and take each thing out. You are very content to just sit and watch your big sister play. You are very easy.
Favorite Past Time: You love to be out and about, are content to watch Big Sister play, and you love the tubby.
Communication: You cry when you're hungry (like you from zero to screaming in a second), and also when your tired and fighting it, but honestly? You very rarely cry- such a good girl!
Bedtime/Nap time:
- You go to sleep for the night about 6:30pm. You wake up like clockwork around 4am. After your bottle, you'll go back to sleep until about 6:30/7am. Daddy and I are tired even though you are technically sleeping through the night, and have been for MONTHS, but this 4am stuff is OLD. We switch off each night of who gets up with you for that 4am feeding, and then who gets up with you and Reese. So if it's Mommy's night to get up with you at 4am, Daddy will get up with you at 6:30/7 and let Mommy sleep until 7:30. The issue is that your monitor is on my side of the bed, so even when Daddy gets up with you at 4am, I still hear you. From that point on sleep is choppy mostly because my mind starts racing and I can't get back to sleep. We just want you to skip that 4am feeding and sleep until 6/7am and then be up for the day. So, take note, ok?
- You have transitioned to 3 naps per day. Your first nap starting about 90 mins-2 hours after you've woken for the day so if you wake at 7am, your first nap starts anywhere from 830-9am. This nap is typically either around 45 mins in length but sometimes you'll do a long morning nap and go almost 2 hours. Your next nap begins in the neighborhood of noontime. I try so hard to push it until when Reese goes down, or as close to it as I can to have some overlay of both of you sleeping at once. This is when I run around like a crazy person doing laundry, paying bills, cleaning the house, eating lunch, blogging, and fun stuff like that. This nap is typically the longest and usually is about 1.5 hours to 1 hour 45 mins, however if you took a long morning nap this one will only be about 45 mins Your last nap of the day is usually about 4pm and is short-- only about a half hour.
