BIG NEWS!

I have some exciting news to share! We are expecting our third (and last) baby! I took a test on May 4th (may the 4th be with you-- probably the only reason I can remember the date), and two lines instantly popped up. I am still not exactly sure of my exact due date, but I'm thinking somewhere between Jan 9-16. I will have a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks, so I would guess that would be around Jan 2-9.

We have my first appointment on June 8th where they will do a dating ultrasound.  Since I am concidered "mature maternal age" and will be 35 at baby's due date, I get extra testing and get a special blood test at 12 weeks. We plan to tell the girls our news after the 12 week appointment and testing. The blood test also allows us to find out the baby's sex, so I feel like sharing all of that at once with the girls will be best! January is a long way away, and telling them any sooner will drive me crazy with their constant asking--- is it January yet? Haha!

If my calculations are correct, I will be 7 weeks tomorrow.  Other than the normal EXHAUSTION in the first tri, I feel pretty good. No headaches, no nausea, no anything really.  I'm just sooooo tired.  Like could sleep 11 hours, and need a nap, and still be exhausted. Carting around my two girls to school, play dates, on errands, and just keeping them busy in general is tiring, nevermind adding in pregnancy.  I am so extremely grateful for not being so sick like I was both times before. With Reese I threw up all of the time, and with Adeline I had the worst headaches, and felt sick for weeks. I was so afraid to get pregnant again and have to deal with not only one other child, but two! I am saying prayers that I continue to not feel sick!!

Todd and I are so excited though! We cannot wait to share the news with the girls, and our friends and family. I'll update after my first appointment.
