On Saturday we had a going away party for friends who are moving to Hawaii later this month. The party happened to be about 40 minutes from Todd's parents house, so we figured we'd drive down to the Cape on Saturday morning, then leave Reese with my in-laws and go to the party, then spend the rest of the weekend down there.
This was Reese's first real trip to the beach this year and it was SO fun to see her in the water and playing in the sand. She is definitely a beach bum-- the apple doesn't fall far! This girl has absolutely no fear of the water.
Reese loves spending time her Nonna and Papa, and really had a great time. This weekend Reese learned how to clap, and she also said "Papa" for the first time! Yay!

how fun to be 40 minutes from the beach!! we are like 5 hours from the closest one! reese looks adorable (sadie has that swimsuit too ;)
