On Sunday, October 20th we dedicated Adeline Kate to God in front of family and close friends as she was baptized. It was the most perfect day for the most perfect baby. Adeline, of course, was a dream and didn't cry at all. Ironically enough there was one other baby also being baptized, and she screamed the entire time.
Adeline wore the same gown as Reese did which was my mother's that she wore 57 years ago. (I was never baptized, or I would have worn it as well). I plan to have it preserved once we decide that we are 100% done having babies (because let's be honest, if we were to have another baby, it would most likely be another girl). I'd love for my girls to have the option to keep the tradition if they should have daughters of their own some day.
After the ceremony we hosted a luncheon at the Hardcover restaurant. The food was delicious, and the company even better. Here are some pictures from Adeline's special day.
