Easter 2014

Now that it's June I figured it was the perfect time to recap Easter, from you know, two months ago! Such is life with two little ones who don't seem to nap at the same time ever, so my blogging has been pushed to the back burner.

Anyway, Easter was such a beautiful day, and Todd & I felt blessed to host and be surrounded by family.  Unfortunately, my mom had to work, but my stepdad was still able to join us.  We hosted Todd's parents and Jamie/Frank and Enzo.

This was my first time serving ham, and although I was worried about it, it couldn't have been easier! I ordered from the Honeybaked Ham company, and can't say enough about how easy and good it was.  It's pre-cooked and spiral sliced. I'm not a ham lover, and this was yummy! Todd's mom made a few sides and dessert, I made a side, salad, and Jamie brought an app and dessert.  It was a group effort!

This was also Adeline's first Easter even though she was over a year old. Last year Easter fell in March, and she wasn't born until April 9th, so it was fun to see her reaction to her Easter basket and egg hunt.  This was also the first year that I did the egg hunt for the kids; it was a huge hit! Next year I have to get more creative and buy a lot more eggs! Reese is still asking if we can do another egg hunt.

I'm rambling, here are the pictures!
