Letters to Emerson- Seven Months

Emerson 7 Month Stats:

Weight: 18lbs 13.8oz (83rd percentile)

Height: 26.26" (42nd percentile) *much more accurate than at the pediatrician's measurements.  I knew you didn't spike to the 90th% for height!

Clothing: 3-6, but started to fit into some 6-9 month pajamas.

Diapers: Size 3

Favorite Toys: You love your sit to stand walker that all of the fun buttons and sounds. You still love your excersaucer and jumperoo. Now that you are a master sitter you are able to sit on the floor content with a little basket of toys.  You love to pull each toy out, examine it, then it goes right into your mouth!

Favorite Past Time:  Being out and about in the stroller, going for walks, being in the baby carrier, and playing with your sisters. You also love when Mommy tickles you and blows raspberries on your belly! Keeping this from last month because it's the same this month!

Communication: You are such a ham and literally screech with excitement! You "talk" when we talk to you with your baby sounds and it's just the sweetest. You also laugh consistently if we tickle you.

Cries: Only when tired or hungry, you are such a happy girl!

Schedule/Bedtime/Nap time: You finally are sleeping through the night! You are a very early riser getting up most mornings at either 5 or 5:30am, but we are happy that you are finally over needing a night feeding.

5/5:30am wake up, bottle.
8am bottle, go down for nap. (usually around 90 mins)
10am- solids
11am- bottle
noon- nap (usually around 90 mins)
2:30pm- bottle
3:30/4pm- nap
5pm- solids
6:30- bottle
7pm lights out

Foods: Only 5 bottles now, 6oz each, and solids twice a day.

Worth Mentioning: You have made a huge improvement in the solids department. You eat basically any food we give you. You LOVE to eat! After seeing Dr. Salvatore (GI dr), he told us to start oats again to see if you are still sensitive. He also wants us to introduce you to both peanuts and tree nuts earlier than what the normal guidelines are to rule out any allergies early. First he's telling us to mix a peanut butter powder into your solids for a week. After that he wants us to introduce you to tree nuts via an almond milk yogurt.  Mommy is nervous to do so, but will follow the doctor's advice.

Milestones:

-Sitting up without any assistance.

-Sleeping through the night!

Emerson, we ADORE you! You are just the cutest, sweetest baby ever! XOXOXOXOX
