We had Emerson's photo shoot on December 14th, 2018 with our dear friend, Kerry Goodwin, who has been taking our family's pictures for years. All started off well with Emerson taking a great nap, and being happy getting dressed, etc. However, as soon as Kerry showed up, Emerson started being extra clingy (not crazy unusual), but as soon as Kerry tried to position Emerson in a bowl that moved, Emerson lost her mind. She was hysterical. No amount of playing "Baby Shark" helped, and I ended up in half of the pictures trying to calm her down. This photo shoot will go down as the most stressful thus far out of all of the times we've had pictures taken. This even tops the shoot in the fall of 2014 when Adeline was about 18 months and cried the whole time. I'm sweating just thinking about it again. It's a good thing these kiddos are cute! Even though the session didn't go as planned, it's so Emerson! Emme is always calling the shots and letting us know that she is in charge!
