Midweek Randoms

- Today has been MUCH better than yesterday, and for that I am very thankful.  Reese slept until 7:30am again, and we still made it to the gym by 8:30 so I could try a new class, Tabata.  Tabata is a full hour of interval training (cardio and weights) and it kicked my butt! The best part of this morning? Reese didn't cry while she was in the daycare at the gym and was all smiles when I got out! I'm SO proud of her.  It's really important to me that she gets interaction with other kids and that she's not afraid being away from me.

- Reese sat today for a couple minutes totally unassisted! I was behind her just in case, but she did so good! Baby girl is growing up!

- I have a yummy turkey chili in the crock pot right now, and it smells delicious!

- Today is January 12th and we still haven't had any snow (with the exception of that dusting on Oct. 27th).  This is crazy for Boston.  I never thought I'd say this, but I really miss the snow.  Last year at this time I was pregnant with Reese and working as a teacher in a 2nd grade classroom and we had 5 snow days in January alone. This was when we took a walk on Tuesday.

- T just got a mini-promotion at work and we are very excited and thankful for this new opportunity! He actually leaves for CA this Monday on a business trip for the week and I am NOT looking forward to him being away!

-Oh, and one last thine.  My mom always ask me if I ever give Reese "naked time" to air it out.  I've been reluctant because I've been afraid she'd pee.  On Monday, I put a towel down on our bed, and let her be naked....you can guess what happened next.  Yup, she peed.  It went through the towel, flat sheet, fitted sheet, and onto the mattress pad cover.  Thanks, mom! That was fun to clean up! ;-) Luckily, I snapped this picture moments before the incident.  How cute are these rolls? I could eat her up!!! OMG.
