Dear Baby Girl

Dear Baby Girl,

Today your daddy and I were so excited to take a trip into Brookline to GoldenView Ultrasound to see you in 3D/4D again! Mommy got all dolled up, drove into Cambridge to pick up Daddy from work, and then headed to GoldenView.  As soon as the Ultrasound Tech put the wand on Mommy's belly you had your hands right up by your face! Daddy looked at me as if to say, "Not again!". You see sweet baby girl, the last time we went to Goldenview at around 25 weeks you were so fresh! You kept your hands up by your face the whole time, and the tech really had to push on Mommy's belly and have Mommy move all around to try and coax you to remove those long fingers from in front of your face.  After about 20 minutes, you were nice enough to give us a few shots.  Today? Notsomuch! I think you just love having your little hands by your face, and I think you're running out of room in there.  We left with not one picture. Not one! If we didn't love you so much already, you would be in trouble when you finally make your entrance to this world.  But don't worry, Daddy and I love you SO much and you really can do no wrong in our eyes at this point.  We loved seeing you today even though your hands were covering your face, and we loved hearing your heartbeat.  That never gets old!

The good news is that the Ultrasound Tech told us to come back next week (free of charge) to try again.  Mommy was given instructions to "Sugar up!" on the ride in.  Juice and candy will be Mommy's breakfast. Hopefully you cooperate next time.

Love,

Mommy
